Self Assessment Tools for You Online

In this session we will give an overview of Self Assessment tool in LWW Health Library collections including Board Review Series, Basic (medical) Sciences, and Clerkship. Students will have time to create an account and gain hands on experience during the session.

All library workshops will be hosted online via Zoom. If there are no attendees online, workshops will be canceled 10 minutes after the scheduled start time.

Study Room Bookings:

All study rooms must be vacated one hour before the library closes.
You must be an OU student, faculty or staff and have a valid OU email address in order to reserve a room; Bookings are limited to OU email addresses only (i.e., @oakland.edu).
Study Room bookings may be made up to 2 weeks in advance.
You may book up to 3 one-hour slots per day, 12 slots per week, two weeks in advance. The week runs Sun.-Sat.
Once you have confirmed your reservation, that reservation is yours for the duration of the slot(s). You may come and go as you wish.
The 3 one-hour slots may be booked as one block, three single blocks, or other such configurations
When a reservation is made, users will receive a "confirm your booking" email and when confirmed, a "confirmed" email.
Only your Public reservation name is viewable by all

Meeting Room Bookings:

Research Consultations

Research consultations are generally half-hour appointments with a librarian and offer customized help on your specific research topic.
You must be an OU student, faculty or staff to schedule an appointment. Appointments are limited to OU email addresses only (i.e., @oakland.edu).
When you schedule an appointment, you will receive a confirmation email with the appointment details.
Confirmation emails include links for rescheduling or canceling the appointment should you need to.

In-Person Research Help

In-person research help with one of our library faculty members is available on weekdays (M-F) during regular business hours.
Appointments are required to meet with a library faculty member and can only be scheduled by those who have OU email addresses (i.e., @oakland.edu).
If you do not have an OU email address, you can stop by the service desk during regular business hours on weekdays (M-F); library faculty members may be available to assist with drop-in needs.
