Virtual Panel Discussion: Black-Owned Bookstores in Metro Detroit (African American Celebration Month Event)
Black-Owned Bookstores in Metro-Detroit: A Virtual Panel will be highlighting local Black-owned bookstores. The bookstores and panelists being highlighted are Brown Sugar & Spice Books & Educational Services owned by Jacqueline Galloway Blake, Detroit Book City owned by Janeice Haynes, and Source Booksellers owned by Janet Webster Jones and Alyson. This event is moderated by Dr. Kasaundra Tomlin, Economics (OU).
Please join us to celebrate African American Celebration Month and to discover more about bookstores in the area on Thursday, February 6th from noon to 1pm. This panel will be held on Zoom.
